About Us

Uniting for our future, together.

We walk with people through reentry and recovery — and we work shoulder to shoulder with the case managers, probation officers, discharge planners and employers who support them.

Who we are

Rooted in the neighborhood we serve

Tiff Top Community Solutions is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit operating out of 1511 S. High St on the south side of Columbus. We serve people returning from incarceration and people in recovery, along with the families standing behind them.

Our services are delivered face to face. There is no portal and no waiting list to join online — participants sit down with a person, and that relationship is what carries the work forward through the setbacks that reentry and recovery inevitably bring.

All eight of our programs are running today.

What drives us

Mission and vision

Our mission

To empower individuals and families to overcome barriers through comprehensive support services that promote personal growth, successful reentry, workforce readiness, stable housing and long-term self-sufficiency.

Our vision

A community where a person's past does not decide their future — where a second chance comes with real opportunity attached, and where renewing, restoring and rebuilding a life is within reach of every neighbor.

Core values

What we hold ourselves to

These are the commitments our partners can hold us accountable for.

Compassion

We meet people without judgment about where they have been. Dignity is the starting point of every service, not a reward for good behavior.

Accountability

We set clear expectations with participants and hold to them. Follow-through is what turns a plan into progress.

Collaboration

We work alongside agencies, courts and employers rather than duplicating services that already exist in Columbus.

Integrity

We say plainly what we can deliver, and we tell partners when a need falls outside our scope so no one is left waiting on help that is not coming.

Community partnership

Lasting change happens at the neighborhood level, with the organizations and residents already invested there.

Perseverance

Reentry and recovery are not linear. We stay engaged through setbacks instead of closing a file.

How we work

Trauma-informed, person-centered, evidence-based

Three principles shape how every program is designed and delivered.

Trauma-informed

We structure our space, our scheduling and our conversations around the reality that the people we serve carry significant trauma, so that seeking help does not repeat the harm.

Person-centered

Participants name their own priorities and we build the plan around them, rather than moving everyone through a fixed sequence of services.

Evidence-based

We favor approaches with a track record in reentry and recovery, and we change course when something is not working for the person in front of us.
