Getting to work
Bus passes and gas cards. Transportation is the single most common reason a placement falls apart in the first month.
Renew. Restore. Rebuild.
Tiff Top Community Solutions is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in south Columbus. Your gift pays for the work happening at 1511 S. High St right now — not a campaign, not overhead in another city.
A one-time gift funds what is in front of us this week — bus passes, work boots, an application fee, a night that does not end on the street.
A monthly gift does something a one-time gift cannot. It lets us tell a participant we will still be here in March. Predictable income is what turns a good intention into a service somebody can count on.
Every donation is receipted. Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
We are a small organization. There is no marketing department here — money that comes in goes out to the things below.
Bus passes and gas cards. Transportation is the single most common reason a placement falls apart in the first month.
Interview clothes, work boots, safety gear and tools. You cannot take the job if you cannot show up dressed for it.
State ID, birth certificates, Social Security cards, licensing and application fees. Small costs that block everything behind them.
Housing search support and the deposits, application fees and first-week basics that stand between someone and a stable address.
Space, materials and staff time for life skills training, job readiness and the peer-led support groups that run every week.
The follow-up that happens after the job starts. It is the least visible part of the work and the part that decides whether it lasts.
Several of these cost you nothing at all.
Interview and work clothing, boots and safety gear, hygiene supplies, bus passes, grocery and gas gift cards, and household basics for a first apartment.
Ask what we need →Many companies match employee donations dollar for dollar, and some pay a grant for volunteer hours. It is usually one form and it doubles your gift.
A workplace, congregation, school or team can collect the items above. Call first so what you collect is something we have room to store and can place.
Get involved →Businesses, congregations and foundations can underwrite one program rather than giving into a general fund. You will know exactly what your money paid for.
Talk about sponsorship →For an employer, an open position is worth more than a check. Second Chance Staffing costs you nothing and there is no obligation to hire.
Employer partnerships →Teach a class, mentor, run mock interviews or lend a professional skill. Consistent volunteers are as hard to find as funding.
Ways to volunteer →Please call ahead on 614-502-0396. We are a small organization with limited storage, and a quick call means what you bring is something we can actually use and place. Our hours are Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm, at 1511 S. High St.

We do not sell, rent or trade donor information. Ever. If you want your gift kept anonymous, say so when you give and it will be.
Questions about a donation, a receipt or a pledge? Call 614-502-0396 or email tiffany@ttc-solutions.org and you will get a person, not a ticket number.
